Håfa Adai,

GUAM WOMEN WARRIORS follows the journeys of women currently serving in the military and those who have returned to civilian life.

These journeys begin with the decision to enter military life and the experience of initial military training. You will find stories of joining the military as you click on the photos below.

Check back for new stories that track the progression of each woman’s journey, from joining and training through active duty and deployment to the return home, and beyond.

Through their stories, perspectives and realities, this project seeks to deepen our community’s understanding of women’s military and wartime experiences, as well as their experiences of coming home.
